Job Description

Job Core Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines as well as other production equipment such as shear cutters, hydraulic presses, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and stamping presses.

Perform machine setups, adjustments, and routine maintenance to ensure efficient and quality production. Conduct tests, analyses, and calibrate assemblies in accordance with company policies and safety procedures. Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions to maintain peak performance. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, job travelers, and manuals to meet specifications.

Job Specifications:

A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations is required.

Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships, or the equivalent experience in related field

2+ years of relevant experience operating CNC machines independently and experience setting up and running other production equipment such as shear cutters and hydraulic presses.

Skills and Competencies:

Proven ability to operate CNC machines and other machining tools independently.

Experience in semi-repetitive and specialized machine operations.

Proficient in using hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job documentation accurately.

Flexibility to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
