Job Description

A family in Bellevue is looking for a warm and proactive Family Assistant/Nanny to support their two tween children. This role blends childcare, mentorship, and light household help. The ideal candidate will be a positive role model who brings structure, fun, and guidance while keeping the children's daily lives organized and running smoothly.

What You’ll Do:

• Support & Mentor: Be a positive figure; encouraging good habits, independence, and kindness while helping the children through their tween years.
• School & Activities: Help with school routines, homework, after-school schedules, and prep for activities and trips.
• Driving: Safely drive the children to school, activities, and appointments in the family car.
• Snacks & Meals: Prepare healthy snacks and simple meals.
• Travel: Join the family for vacations (including a six-week summer trip) and assist with packing, organizing, and daily routines while away.
• Household Help: Handle light tasks like laundry, keeping kids’ spaces tidy, packing/unpacking, errands, and helping with the family dog.
• Teamwork: Work closely with another family assistant/nanny to share responsibilities and provide smooth coverage.

Who You Are:

• Experienced working with tweens or school-aged kids
• Calm, confident, and able to set healthy boundaries
• Organized, dependable, and a strong communicator
• Comfortable traveling and working as part of a team
• Holds a valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Pet-friendly and happy to help with dog care

Schedule:

• Weekdays: Monday–Friday, 1:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
• Weekends: Alternating or shared with the other nanny
• Travel: Extended summer travel + occasional overnights when parents are away

Compensation & Benefits:

• $45/hour + overtime
• PTO and full benefits package
• Family car provided for driving
