Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP / NP – OB/GYN)
📍 Georgia | Full-Time | Monday–Friday | No Call
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) with experience in Women’s Health / OB-GYN to join a collaborative and patient-centered clinical team. This is a full-time, salaried opportunity offering an excellent work-life balance in an outpatient setting.
Position Responsibilities
Clinical Care & Diagnostics (Gynecology):
- Conduct routine and comprehensive physical exams, including breast and pelvic exams, Pap smears, and screenings
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic gynecological conditions (e.g., vaginitis, pelvic pain, menstrual irregularities, endometriosis, STIs)
- Provide contraception counseling, family planning, fertility awareness, and preconception care
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests (laboratory, radiological, etc.)
- Perform minor office procedures within scope and training (e.g., IUD insertion/removal, biopsy procedures)
Obstetrical Care:
- Provide full-scope prenatal care for low-risk pregnancies, including screening, risk assessment, and ongoing monitoring
- Identify and manage complications in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Provide postpartum care, including physical assessments, breastfeeding support, and emotional health screening
Health Promotion & Education:
- Educate patients on preventive care, nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle modifications
- Counsel patients on menopausal transition, hormonal changes, and hormone replacement therapy (HRT)
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
Collaboration & Professionalism:
- Collaborate with physicians, certified nurse midwives, nurses, and support staff
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff meetings, and continuing education
- Maintain compliance with all ethical and legal standards of practice
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia
- Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification in Georgia
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an OB/GYN setting
- WHNP certification or strong OB/GYN experience preferred
Compensation & Schedule
- Salary: $110,000–$115,000 (DOE)
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Monday–Friday schedule
- No weekends, no call, no major holidays
