Job Description

Job Title: RN PCU

Location: Asheville, North Carolina, 28801

Contract duration: 13 weeks

Shift:3X12 Hours

Schedule: Nights

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care following nursing standards, hospital policies, and evidence-based practice.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, reassessments, and ongoing monitoring of patient conditions.
• Manage patients with complex medical needs, including those requiring cardiac monitoring, titratable drips (as facility policy allows), and frequent assessments.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products safely and accurately.
• Assist with diagnostic tests, procedures, and interventions as directed

Requirements:

• Active RN License
• Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS,
• Minimum 1–2 years of acute care or PCU/Step-down experience preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
