Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial and/or residential construction projects across Virginia. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can assist with scheduling, budgeting, and communication between field teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in day-to-day project management activities.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to maintain schedules and project milestones.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, and resources to support efficient operations.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, schedules, and change orders.
• Support quality control and safety compliance on all projects.
• Assist in resolving on-site issues and making decisions to keep projects on track.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in construction project management or assistant project management roles.
• Knowledge of commercial, retail, or residential construction processes.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
• Familiarity with project management software is a plus.
