Job Description

A multi-industry international distribution company is seeking an E-Commerce & Inside Sales Assistant to join their E-Commerce Sales team to support the team's data compilation, analysis, and reporting responsibilities regarding consumable products and related marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in E-Commerce data analytics, excluding Amazon's platform.

**This position is a full-time, direct hire, exempt position with comprehensive benefit package.

Key Responsibilities of E-Commerce & Inside Sales Assistant:

• Assist with conducting data analysis to identify opportunities in the US market
• Assist with market research to analyze customer needs and monitor competitor product
• Assist with the development of product by working closely with the sales and product development teams
• Participate in global product development meetings with local members and members from Japan
• Compile a variety of data and in a variety of methods, ensuring accuracy, relevancy, and effectiveness
• Audit data sources regularly and troubleshoot issues that may affect data accuracy in reporting
• Effectively communicate with various internal and external stakeholders using multiple tools to ensure effective visual communication
• Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications for E-Commerce & Inside Sales Assistant:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, international business, data science, or similar
• At least 1 year of E-commerce data analytics experience, excluding the Amazon Marketplace Platform
• Japanese language fluency is a plus but not required
• Knowledge of sales, marketing, product development, P&L calculations, digital marketing channels, and global ecommerce performance metrics/KPIs
• Proficiency using a computer including Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook as well as Data Visualization tools
• Proficiency with mathematical and statistical problem-solving techniques
• Ability to interpret data and evaluate data for identification of key trends and provide actionable insights to improve international marketing strategies
• Capable of developing insightful and visually appealing reports and dashboards for data metrics
• Demonstrate high-level organizational, multi-tasking, and planning skills
• Exhibit positive attitude and openness to learning
• Comfortable communicating with global teams and adapting communication styles
• Team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physical demands: Frequent sitting, computer usage, communicating verbally and in writing, lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, operate standard office equipment (e.g. telephone, calculator, copy/fax machine), repetitive arm/hand/eye movement, travel to and from meetings inside and outside building
