What You’ll Do:
- Set up, run, and inspect precision-machined parts.
- Use Fusion 360 for both CAM and CAD tasks — from programming toolpaths to optimizing part design.
- Collaborate with engineering to refine manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot machining challenges and find creative solutions.
- Take initiative on projects that push efficiency, accuracy, and innovation.

- Experience in machining and manufacturing processes .
- Working knowledge of Fusion 360 (or similar CAD/CAM software).

Duties:
- Tend CNC machines that perform milling and turning operations.
- Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
- Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results.
- Check machinery daily to guarantee functionality.
- Complete production and quality logs.
- Communicate issues that arise in the process of creating a part.
- Ensure that part meets client and Legacy Machining expectations.
- Maintain an organized work space.
- Other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
- 2-4 years experience as a CNC machine operator is a plus.
- Ability to read technical documents and engineering drawings.
- Great attention to detail.
- Experience with and ability to read metrology tools.
- Strong comprehension and analytical abilities.
- Good computer and mathematical skills.
- Great time management skills.
- Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise
- Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential
- Should have a positive and professional attitude
- Capable of standing for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds for short periods of time
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 35-40 hours per week;
Business core hours: 9:00am-3:00pm
